My characters as Mews

I noticed in a trend of people on here either making original Mews, or drawing their own characters from other things in Mew-style outfits. So inspiration kind of grabbed me by the shoulders and shook me and was like "YOU MUST DO THIS." Tokyo Mew Mew was my first anime after all! And my favorite genre.

Left to Right (these characters actually are a magical girl team in their original context, too--in my stories I mean):

Aethelu--
Some kind of sea creature. Possibly shelled, as her bodice suggests.
Name: Mew Peach (specifically white peaches--they're really delicate, and of course whiteish. I mean she's delicate in the sense of refined or thoughtful and quiet.)

Taralyn--
Butterfly! It's her symbol, so it was easy. I really hope the Monarch species is endangered (that sounds horrible, but I don't mean it like that), because that's what I was going for with her outfit. Didn't research this very much...
Name: Mew Pumpkin (She's a Halloweeny witchy type, so it seems to fit in a cute way.)

Umeko--
Llama! Or some related creature. I only noticed after deciding what animal trait to give her (I drew her outfit first) that her boots even kinda look like cloven hooves, so that's cool. (Her symbol in my stories is a rose, but that's not an animal so...)
Name: Mew Plum (this is the one I'm most sure of, since it's so perfect. 'Ume'--plum--is right there in her name. I'm not sorry.)

Lily--
Bat. Like Taralyn, it was so obvious what animal she should have the dna of. She loves bats. Yes, this goth girl takes your cliches and REVELS in them.
Name: Mew Pomegranate? They're sorta red, and have an association with passion which reminds me of Lily.

Etsu--
Some sort of bird. I love how cute she turned out. Well, she's always cute, but not usually this femme.
Name: Mew ? (I'll have to try and remember hers)

Castal--
I don't know whether he (yes, he) is simply crossdressing--cross...transforming?--or if he physically changes like Natsuru in Kampfer or something. Either way it doesn't seem to bother him too much. He's a proud part of their Magical GIRL team. ^-^
Also, his animal is a snake. I love snakes. They are so cute! My best friend has one. Oddly, Castal reminds me of him (my friend) a LOT despite pre-dating our first meeting.
Name: Mew Poison, or (originally) Mew Penicillin. He's very sciency. Loves chemistry. And then poison fits the snake theme (and sounds cooler), so I might go with that instead.

You might notice they all have 'p' names. I started accidentally, and then realized I had to keep going or it would bug me. XD

Note: Not sure whether to file this as fanart or not. Well, anyway, Tokyo Mew Mew does NOT belong to me, but these particular characters and their particular outfits do.
